American Smartphone giant Apple recently announced its latest version of the iOS, along with the iPadOS 14, at the WWDC 2020. The former features a redesigned Home Screen page and several smart features for the users.
For the first time ever, iOS now has widgets and it looks more modern and functional that what we have on Android. The widgets provide timely information at glance and can be pinned in different sizes on any Home Screen.
Another familiar Android feature coming to iOS 14 is App Library, which organizes all your apps according to category. This makes it easier to find apps installed on your phone.
A unique new iOS feature that’s not seen on Android phones is App Clips. This nifty feature associate products and businesses with certain apps, letting you complete tasks like renting bikes and scooters, purchasing coffee.
Other new features include improved app privacy controls, Picture-in-Picture for videos and FaceTime calls, new Memoji options, updated Maps with Guides and curated routes, and Translate.
iOS will be available later this year and will support all iPhones starting from the iPhone 6s and 1st-generation iPhone SE.
